encourages community members to exercise by bike riding in
Northwest Detroit every
1st and 3rd Saturday of each month, starting
JUNE 1st at 9:00 am
Meet at Stopel Park
(Outer Drive and Evergreen Road)
The route will start from Evergreen on Outer
Drive to Renaissance High School and back –
8miles
 Seeking riders of all ages and riding ability
to join.
 Bike route should take no longer than 1
hour to complete.
 Resting stations will be identified on the
route
 Remember to bring water to stay
hydrated!!!

New Center Park is a unique green space located on the southwest corner of Second Avenue and West Grand Boulevard across from the Fisher Building. Renovation of this existing “pocket park” into a flexible outdoor concert, activity, and concession venue was completed in 2010 and seasonal programming began that summer. New Center Park produces free shows June through August with the occasional ticketed event.


Thursday Alfresco Jazz & Blues returns on June 6th through August 29th.
