Every Tuesday 3:30-5:30p.m. in the Teen center Cross Chess new exciting approach to playing chess teens and tweens

Dr. Wright wishes to thank all of the persons who volunteered, and assisted in making the summer Reading program 2013 a great success. The world class artists Ms. Hajj, Ms. Dabney, Jama Tata, Mr. Woolfolk, Ms. Colbert, Mr. Castleberry, Mr. Emery Jones,  and Mr. Smooth. The community youth was offered various opportunities to explore the visual and performing arts. The accompanying reading selection embellished the experience. Tuskegee Airmen Exhibit In Detroit

Description
The public is invited to learn the story of America’s first black military pilots and their crewmen at the Commemorative Air Force (CAF) Red Tail Squadron’s Rise Above traveling exhibit, which will visit Focus: HOPE September 5-7.
The free exhibit will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., at 1200 Oakman Boulevard, Detroit. Several Tuskegee Airmen and their descendants are expected to attend.  The program features a 30 minute video shown in a 53’ semi-trailer. Groups are welcome. Make a reservation by calling 313.494.4600.
